Based in Bethel, Maine, Naturally Maine Skincare was founded by Carina Walter. Carina has been interested in plants since childhood and is a professional herbalist with extensive training and work experience in formulating therapeutic products.
She has Bachelor of Science degrees and additionally graduated from the American College of Healthcare Sciences with honors. She has an MS in Herbal Medicine, Cert. Aromatherapist, Ecotherapy Practitioner, Behavioral and Holistic Health Practitioner.
Carina is a member of many organizations, has taught workshops, and occasionally teaches online classes. She holds board positions for Nature's Answer, Inc., Granite State College Alumni Advisory Board, is a Maine State Science Fair Judge, and is an Honorary Board Advisor for New England Pet Partners. She also does digital humanitarian work with the Crowd2map project in Tanzania, and additionally with Mercy Corps, where she mentors third-world business mentees.
